Before calling a locksmith or your roadside assist service, check that there isn’t a door that was left unlocked, it has happened, or check if someone can bring you your spare key – it may be quicker and cheaper than calling a locksmith. Some modern cars cannot be opened with lockout equipment due to advanced electronics.
